The hentai adaptation was just a hentai. In Visual novel it was all a simulation. Childhood friend was fake and was the antagonist. Nemu was real childhood friend who was just like "fake childhood friend" in simulation. So at the end all endings of vn are connected

True it is more like Arisu in borderland as they centered a circle of friends. Similarities also from other previous titles like Ousama Game, Darwin's game, Battle Game and well I feel a bit of Danganronpa too PLUS a PINCH OF AMONG US since someone is deliberately sabotaging the group but danganronpa had this 'traitor' scheme. So it's just a mixture of those titles on a different pacing.

I really miss btoom the mc is a neat guy that always scream and talks back to his mom but when they get sent to that island the mc is likeable and the studio is madhouse it's sad that they made an anime original at the end and yeah I love this death games
